Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a qualified analyst to support Financial Advisors by researching portfolios, assets, and investment products. You will build financial models, prepare industry reports, and contribute to strategy papers for high net worth and institutional clients.

As part of a collaborative team, you will develop client-focused investment strategies, participate in meetings, and deliver analytical insights to support portfolio decisions and revenue forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years’ experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on conducting market research and analysis.
• SIE required; Series 7, 63, 65 and/or 66 as required by state; additional licenses/designations may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collects fundamental research on related companies as requested by Financial Advisors.
• Uses analytical tools, software and methodologies to research investment products, asset allocation and portfolio analyses.
• Assists in preparation of written industry and company reports.
• Develops financial models for revenue and income forecasts.
• Contributes to Investment Strategy white papers for Financial Advisors.
• Prepares presentations, portfolio analyses, and proposals for High Net Worth and institutional clients.
• May participate in client meetings to identify goals and tolerances.
• Develops individualized client investment strategies with Financial Advisors.
• Responds to inquiries to research and resolve issues.
• Produces customized industry and company-specific reports upon request.
• Develops financial models to forecast team revenue and income.
• Prepares scheduled and ad hoc performance reports.
• Maintains checklists for monitoring reviews and searches.
