Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Portfolio Principal Engineer to drive complex data solutions and data architecture across the Digital, Customer and Service data delivery portfolio. You will consult on analytics, governance, and reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment.

As a technical leader, you’ll mentor engineers, shape data standards and work with Tealium, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake and other platforms to deliver high-value insights for customers

Qualifications

• Broad experience in full stack development and data-centric engineering.
• Strong background in modern analytics and tagging platforms.
• Experience with cloud and data tooling (AWS, Kafka, RESTful APIs) is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop complex data solutions and act as a technical expert for data initiatives.
• Design data models and architectures to improve data accessibility, governance and quality.
• Lead agile ceremonies and guide product teams within the portfolio.
• Enhance data pipelines, reduce costs and drive improvements across the data stack.
• Mentor data engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure tagging standards and reporting consistency across platforms.
• Partner with Solutions Engineer on roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Contribute to forums and initiatives to improve engineering practices.
