Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Portfolio Principal Engineer (PPE) to lead complex data and analytics initiatives within the DAE BDSE Digital portfolio. This role requires collaboration with engineering teams, stakeholders, and leadership to deliver maximum business value across our digital data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years delivering complex software/data solutions in large environments.
• Strong knowledge of digital analytics platforms & tagging systems.
• Experience with JavaScript, cloud services (AWS), and data pipelines.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop complex data solutions across the portfolio.
• Design data models and architectures to improve data quality and governance.
• Lead agile ceremonies and guide product teams.
• Improve data pipelines, reduce costs, and drive efficiency.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineer on roadmaps and delivery.
