Prospect Capital Management (PCM) seeks a strategy and operations expert to help optimize performance across PCC-controlled middle-market businesses. The role requires heavy on-site engagement with senior managers and travel to multiple portfolio companies, with NYC offices as a base.

You will lead operational strategy, drive cross-portfolio projects, develop KPIs, and work with leadership to identify revenue growth, cost reductions, and profitability improvements, leveraging an MBA and 8+ years

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of operational or strategy consulting or private equity portfolio operations.
• Ability to work independently on-location with management teams.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in financial modeling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with portfolio company leadership to improve operational processes.
• Lead projects such as marketing overviews, digital transformation, go-to-market strategy.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and margin improvement.
• Develop and implement KPIs to monitor portfolio performance.
• Lead initiatives to streamline operations and optimize supply chains.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and Prospect.
