Job summary

Midwest Trust Co. is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst in Overland Park, KS. You will reconcile portfolios, maintain investment data, and support daily trading operations within an SEC-registered environment.

You’ll work with teams across Trading, Portfolio Management, and Compliance to resolve discrepancies and improve controls. The role emphasizes data accuracy, system proficiency (Advent/APX, Moxy, Genesis, Eze, Bloomberg, FactSet), and the development of operational reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of investments and financial markets.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work accurately with detailed financial and investment data.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic reconciliation of assigned investment portfolios.
• Develop queries and reports to support investment operations and risk controls.
• Support trading, settlement, and portfolio accounting processes.
• Investigate discrepancies and document resolutions with internal partners.
• Assist with system validation, upgrades, and data integrity initiatives.
