Security Benefit in Topeka, KS seeks an experienced Investment Operations Analyst to support reconciliation, cash and position monitoring, and control activities across portfolios. You'll coordinate with custodians, managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate records.

Based in our Topeka home office or Des Moines, this hybrid role requires 0–5 years in Asset Servicing or related fields and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• 0–5 years in Asset Servicing, Loan Servicing, Investment Operations, or related role.
• Strong ability to manage multiple requests with curiosity and accountability.
• Problem-solving orientation with teamwork and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional email etiquette.
• Knowledge of loans, bonds, equities, and related systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash, position, and transaction reconciliations across systems and custodians.
• Research and resolve reconciliation breaks and time-sensitive exceptions.
• Coordinate issue resolution with outsourced providers and internal stakeholders.
• Review data for completeness and accuracy per established controls.
• Monitor service levels and assist with periodic reporting and documents.
