Century Next Bank in Ruston, LA is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to handle portfolio mortgage loan and HELOC applications with accuracy and timeliness.

You will book loans to our core system, scan documents, manage escrow activities, and assist lenders with processing questions while ensuring compliance with mortgage lending regulations. The role requires strong attention to detail and solid office system knowledge.

Job description

Essential Functions

• Process portfolio mortgage loan applications in a timely manner
• Process HELOC applications in a timely manner
• Book Consumer Mortgage and HELOC loans to core system
• Scan loan files and documents to scan system
• Escrow disbursements, Escrow analysis
• Daily loan review, Loan maintenance, File documents in records vault
• Assist lenders with processing, payment, and maintenance questions
• Collateral releases
• Loan payments, End of year tax statements, Set up auto transfer payments for loans
• File mortgages, Fund loans,
• Balance general ledger

Knowledge of Mortgage Lending Regulations

Knowledge of Laserpro loan origination software is preferred, but not required

Knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices including the use of standard office equipment

Detail oriented, Organized, Motivated

Hours, Expectations, Work Environment

This is a full‐time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to

5:00pm, with a one‐hour lunch break, with a one‐hour lunch break, but may change depending on staffing needs and workload. This position may require occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

Preference would be one who has experience in problem resolution, ability to set and achieve goals, results‐driven attitude, communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and advanced computer skills.

This position operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, email, electronic calendars, scanning devices, calculators, and spreadsheets.
