OPICI Family Distributing, a family-owned business in wine and spirits for over 100 years, is currently seeking a San Antonio Portfolio Manager. Position Summary

The Opici Group is looking for a dynamic Portfolio Manager to work with a family-owned company and represent fine wines and spirits from all over the world.

Open Position

Responsible for the sales and financial management of multiple supplier portfolios in New York, including planning, pricing, programming, inventory management, and joint meetings. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of related industry experience. Strong computer/technology skills and high communication skills are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Develop business plans across the portfolio of brands, aligned with company goals, sales targets, and budgets. Regularly track and update sales programs and goals.
  2. Build and develop financial plans for the portfolio, including sales and profitability objectives.
  3. Manage pricing strategies to ensure effective price positioning and sales resources.
  4. Educate and motivate the sales organization regarding the portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or 5+ years of related industry experience, with a focus on Fine Wine or Spirits.
  • In-depth understanding of off-premise and on-premise accounts, KPIs, trends, and consumer insights.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and management skills.
  • Passion and knowledge of fine wine & wine regions, plus credentials like CSW, WSET III+, or similar are a plus.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Diver, IDIG is a plus.

Salary is determined by experience. Eligible for health and welfare packages, 401k with company match, holidays, and paid time off.
