Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager to assist in risk assessment and management of the loan portfolio. You will provide analytical and credit oversight, handle annual reviews, renewals, loan covenant compliance reviews and the financial collection process, and work with Relationship Managers to grow a high quality and profitable loan portfolio.

The ideal candidate has strong financial analysis skills, experience in underwriting and monitoring credits, and the ability to coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor (4-year college) degree or equivalent with substantial experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates risk to determine risk rating and acceptability of credit.
• Partners with Relationship Managers to meet current and prospective clients and gather data for underwriting.
• Analyze cash flow and financial indicators to assess profitability and repayment ability.
• Prepare financial spreads, credit presentations, and loan pricing models for approvals.
• Assist in pricing and structuring new loans and renewals.
• Coordinate closing and booking events and monitor industry trends for risk.
• Ensure loan covenant compliance and annual reviews are completed on time.
