Job summary

Solventum, a leading healthcare data innovator, seeks a Portfolio Manager – Finance Data Office to own governance, demand capture, prioritization, routing, and executive reporting. You will manage cross-functional delivery, drive capacity planning, and ensure value realization with dashboards and metrics.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, translate complex data into clear updates, and guide a small team to deliver high-priority initiatives in a remote USA environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree and eight years of progressive project/portfolio management experience.
• Alternative path: Highschool/GED with twelve years of PM experience.
• PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.
• Three years managing multiple initiatives.
• Three years of experience with Jira/portfolio tools/Power BI and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the FDO portfolio intake and governance process.
• Maintain Jira as the single source of truth for demand, priorities, milestones and status.
• Lead stakeholder communications and executive reporting.
• Project manage high-priority FDO initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor portfolio performance including capacity, budget, pipeline health and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in governance and reporting standards.

• Owning and continuously improving the FDO portfolio intake and governance process, including demand capture, qualification, prioritization, routing, SLA monitoring, decision tracking, and escalation.
• Maintaining Jira as the single source of truth for FDO demand, priorities, ownership, milestones, risks, decisions, capacity, and status.
• Leading stakeholder communications and executive reporting, translating complex portfolio information into clear updates on priorities, progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and business value.
• Project managing high-priority FDO initiatives, establishing scope, governance, workplans, milestones, resource needs, success measures, and accountability across cross-functional teams.
• Monitoring and reporting portfolio performance, including capacity, budget, pipeline health, backlog, throughput, SLA performance, risks, and value realization through executive-ready dashboards.
• Driving continuous improvement and consistent portfolio management practices by gathering stakeholder feedback, strengthening governance and reporting standards, and identifying short- and long-term capacity needs.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Engineering, Business, Business Administration or Information Technology AND eight (8) years of progressive experience in project and/or portfolio management

OR

• Highschool/ GED AND twelve (12) years of progressive experience in project and/or portfolio management

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• PMP or PgMP Certification
• Three (3) years experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
• Three (3) years experience with Jira, portfolio management tool or Power BI and executive reporting platforms
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple high priority projects
• Ability to communicate effectively to leadership on progress and recommendations on removing barriers
• Ability to manage a small team of professionals successfully

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $163,200 - $224,400, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
