Job summary

AfterQuery is seeking a remote, project-based expert in Investment Banking or Private Equity to work 10–20 hours per week over the next 2–3 weeks. The role focuses on financial modeling, valuations, and real-world accounting applications, with strong emphasis on learning and resume-building for finance professionals.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in IB/PE, can work asynchronously, and will join a YC-backed startup environment offering meaningful exposure and growth potential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models and answer financial questions.

Job Description

This is a remote, project-based role for Investment Banking or Private Equity professionals with 1-3 years of work experience. You will complete tasks similar to those performed in investment banking or private equity. Work is over the next 2-3 weeks, asynchronous, and assigned on a project-by-project basis, with an expected commitment of 10-20 hours per week for the projects you accept.
