Friedman Real Estate LLC is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager in Farmington Hills, MI to oversee a growing portfolio of third-party managed and owned properties, manage on-site teams, and ensure top-tier tenant relations.

The role emphasizes financial discipline, capital projects, and ongoing property improvements, with opportunities for leadership and professional growth in a nationally recognized Midwest firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial property management experience.
• PM role with high-rise experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• CPM or RPA designation preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi, MRI).
• Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, elevators, boilers, fire-life-safety, plumbing, electrical).
• Understanding of financial reporting, commercial leases, and insurance.

Responsabilités

• Oversee operations for a portfolio of third-party managed and/or owned properties totaling 250,000+ square feet.
• Manage on-site staff performance and vendor/contractor relationships.
• Maintain strong tenant and ownership relationships to ensure high client satisfaction.
• Ensure properties are well maintained, operationally efficient, and visually appealing.
• Oversee work orders, maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage budgets, expense reconciliations, reporting, accounts payable, and collections.
• Lead tenant improvement and capital projects; provide value engineering insights.
• Negotiate service contracts and supervise building engineers.
• Conduct site inspections and collaborate with leasing/brokerage teams to meet objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned
