HASI is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join its Portfolio Management team in Annapolis, MD. You will support monitoring, analysis, and management of HASI’s investment portfolio and assist with due diligence for new opportunities.

Analyst level focuses on modeling, analysis, and reporting; Associate level takes greater ownership of modeling, portfolio analytics, and cross-functional workstreams, mentoring junior team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution required; Master’s in Finance, Economics, or Business.
• Analyst: typically, 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate: typically, 3-5 years of relevant experience with modeling ownership.
• Relevant experience may include renewable energy project finance, asset management/valuation, or finance/investment banking in power/infrastructure/climate sectors.
• Excellent MS Excel financial modeling and data mining skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed reviews of operating portfolio performance across grid-connected, renewable natural gas, or behind-the-meter investments.
• Collaborate with investment counterparties to verify KPIs and address issues.
• Build and maintain financial models, including pro formas and portfolio analyses.
