Job Description

We are hiring a Portfolio Engagement Lead to own a portfolio of client accounts across Houston and the broader Texas market, with accountability for retention, expansion, and client outcomes. This full-time hybrid role sits at the intersection of account growth, delivery oversight, and AI deployment consulting. The hire will manage executive relationships, run quarterly business reviews, identify expansion opportunities, and act as the escalation point across active engagements. They will also support new business pursuits by joining discovery and scoping calls, shaping proposals and statements of work, and helping translate ambiguous client needs into well-scoped engagements. The ideal candidate brings 3 to 7 years of management consulting, Big 4 advisory, or comparable professional services experience, with exposure to AI, data, or analytics programs. They should be credible with VP Engineering, CDO, and Chief AI Officer stakeholders, and comfortable discussing frontier LLM deployment, agentic systems, custom AI connectors, and modern data infrastructure in a client-facing context. This role requires strong experience with account expansion, executive communication, proposal development, pricing support, and portfolio management across service models such as Talent on Demand, Embedded Teams, and Co-Managed Resources. The person will help grow existing accounts, support selected net-new opportunities, and contribute market insight, case studies, and playbooks that strengthen the AI deployment practice.
