BroadPeak Investment Group is seeking a hands-on Portfolio Controller to own accounting across the BIG platform—from startups to multi‑entity portfolio companies and family‑office entities.

The role reports to the executive finance team and requires building standardized processes, consolidations, and financial controls while managing a hybrid US/offshore accounting team. You will drive automation and scalable infrastructure across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience in private equity portfolio accounting, family-office, or multi-entity corporate accounting.
• Experience building and leading offshore/distributed accounting teams.
• Ability to stand up accounting functions from scratch across multiple entities.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or comparable) and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly close, general ledger, and financial reporting across all portfolio and family-office entities.
• Produce consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow by entity and roll-up; monitor covenant risk.
• Stand up accounting infrastructure for new entities within 30–60 days of close; coordinate with legal on structure.
• Lead AI/automation initiatives to streamline close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Manage external tax and audit relationships as needed.
