Job summary

KKR in Boston is seeking an Associate for Portfolio Company Data Operations to support Americas Private Equity data management and performance reporting. You will collaborate with deal teams, KKR Capstone, and KKR Capital Markets to lead internal portfolio monitoring and the data platform usage.

The role requires financial acumen, strong data analysis and technical skills, plus an interest in private markets and AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field; Master’s preferred.
• 4-6 years in a data-intensive role within financial services/private equity.
• Strong SQL with data manipulation, joins and views.
• Experience with Python or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with pivot tables and Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze Americas Private Equity PortCo financial data with end-to-end integrity.
• Oversee recurring financial data collection for Americas Private Equity; ensure data quality.
• Develop data products, SQL transformations, AI skills, and lightweight software to automate analysis.
• Produce quarterly performance reporting and analytics for portfolio management committees and leadership.
• Monitor data quality controls and remediate data issues in a timely manner.
