Job description

Axos Bank Target Range: $75,000.00/Yr. - $100,000.00 Yr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 12.5% and an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 12.5%. These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi‑annually based upon achievement of performance goals and targets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned NRELF loan portfolio for payments, maturities, covenant compliance, and required documentation.
• Track, escalate, and document covenant breaches, exceptions, and emerging credit risks.
• Support quarterly and annual loan reviews, including financial analysis and risk rating recommendations.
• Assist with amendments, waivers, extensions, and ongoing portfolio maintenance.
• Support portfolio reporting, stress testing exercises, and audit/regulatory requests.
• Maintain accurate loan data and ownership in nCino and related systems.
• Identify data issues and contribute to process and reporting improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in portfolio management, credit analysis, or commercial lending.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, credit agreements, and covenant structures.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with credit systems (nCino, Moody’s, or similar) preferred.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines.
