Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Structure, underwrite, and close complex non-recourse lending transactions.
• Lead relationship manager for a portfolio of clients including sponsors, developers, and institutional investors.
• Conduct credit due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis to support underwriting and approvals.
• Prepare and present detailed credit memoranda to internal credit committees.
• Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and overall credit risk.
• Maintain understanding of market conditions, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning in non-recourse lending.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, risk, capital markets, and operations teams to ensure deal execution and servicing.
• Drive business development initiatives and strategic client coverage to grow assets under management and fee income.

$100,000.00/Yr. - $200,000.00/Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 50%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 50%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

Job Description Summary

The VP, Commercial Real Estate plays a strategic role in developing and managing client relationships as we expand our non-recourse lending platform with Commercial Real Estate. This position is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing loans across various asset classes, including multifamily, condominiums, industrial, and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Structure, underwrite, and close complex non-recourse lending transactions
• Serve as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, including sponsors, developers, and institutional investors
• Conduct credit due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis to support underwriting and transaction approval
• Prepare and present detailed credit memoranda to internal credit committees
• Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and overall credit risk
• Maintain a thorough understanding of market conditions, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning within the non-recourse lending space
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, risk, capital markets, and operations teams to ensure seamless deal execution and servicing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial lending, investment banking, or structured finance, with a focus on non-recourse or project-based lending
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex credit relationships and originating new business
• Deep understanding of credit risk, collateral structures, legal documents, and non-recourse financing frameworks
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Strong analytical capabilities, including advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
