Job summary

Auction.com, the leading online platform for buying and selling residential bank-owned properties, seeks an Asset Manager in Irvine, California. Reporting to the Vice President of Portfolio Management, you will oversee the Asset Management Partner and ensure the portfolio meets client performance expectations.

You will create routine reports, coordinate with providers, assess asset values, and recommend dispositions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, real estate or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of REO Asset Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue routine reports to ensure providers are meeting process level SLAs.
• Facilitate weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings with providers to review performance.
• Review asset values and current pricing and make disposition recommendations.
• Identify aged populations for internal strategy reviews weekly.
• Prepare aged asset review documents including marketing history, challenges, and liquidation recommendations.
• Assist Asset Managers in identifying assets for auction and price change recommendations.
• Provide routine updates to Vice President and assigned Client.
• Ensure timeliness, quality and completeness of property documentation and tasks.
• Update policies and procedures as processes and Client expectations change.
• Facilitate training as needed.
• Create and present a compilation of reports for asset management tasks.

Under the direction of the Vice President of Portfolio Management the Asset Manager is an integral part of the asset disposition process within Auction.com. Primary responsibility will be to oversee Auction.com’s Asset Management Partner and other ancillary partners to ensure Auction.com is meeting our Clients overall performance expectations. Responsibilities/duties

• Review asset values and current pricing and make disposition recommendations.
• Identify aged populations for internal strategy reviews weekly.
• Prepare aged asset review documents including marketing history, challenges, and liquidation recommendations.
• Assist the Auction Asset Managers in identifying assets for auction and well as price change recommendations to our Clients.
• Responsible for the overall performance of the portfolio and the Asset Management Partner in which assigned.
• Responsible for providing routine updates to the Vice President and assigned Client.
• Ensure timeliness quality and completeness of property documentation and work related tasks.
• Ensure Policy and Procedures are updated as processes and Client expectations change.
• Facilitate training as needed.
• Create and present a compilation of reports for above referenced asset management tasks.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Outlook Calendar and Word) with an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Excel.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s or associates degree with a concentration in business, real estate or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of REO Asset Management experience

The good faith base salary [or wage] range for this role at the time of posting and hire is $67,000 – $112,700 per year. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus.
