Job summary

Origin Staffing, a leading growth equity platform in Boston, seeks a Portfolio Monitoring & Valuation Analyst to join its Finance team. You will own quarterly valuations, portfolio reporting, and regulatory and investor reporting, while building tools to improve how the team works.

You will work with investment professionals on performance, valuation inputs, cap tables, and value allocation, and develop internal tools using Python, Power BI, and other platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in private equity, growth equity, investment banking, valuation, advisory, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of private company valuation and fund economics.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience working with complex financial data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive portfolio monitoring and reporting across a large private investment portfolio.
• Prepare and analyze quarterly private company valuations.
• Collaborate with investment professionals on performance, valuation inputs, and considerations.
• Analyze cap tables, dilution, liquidation preferences, waterfalls, and value allocation.
• Support LP, regulatory, fundraising, and ad hoc portfolio reporting.
• Improve data quality, reporting processes, and analytical workflows; build internal tools.
