Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
• 3 years’ experience in a Banking environment
• Knowledge of commercial lending products preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the financial reporting and covenant tracking for commercial loan relationships.
• Manages and maintains an assigned portfolio by: facilitating borrower financial reporting submissions to the Bank; reviewing overdue financials and exceptions; updating financials and covenants regularly.
• Monitors current loans and credit lines to ensure terms compliance; reports discrepancies to Management.
• Monitors loan maturity dates 90 days in advance and updates credit files; assists with loan rating adjustments.
• Performs loan review analyses and underwrites credits as needed.
• Monitors and tracks loans requiring Borrowing Base Certificates and AR aging; evaluates collateral and prepares monthly conformity chart.
• Coordinates with loan officers to ensure documentation is in place and terms followed; maintains strong customer relationships.
• Reports incomplete loans due to missing documentation to AVP/Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager; reviews asset quality and potential adverse effects on collateral.
