Ballentine Partners in the Boston area seeks a Portfolio Analyst to support Senior Investment Advisors in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will help manage client investments, run trading programs, monitor IPS restrictions, and assist with onboarding.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of related experience; strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable working with a team and managing multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Experience with investment software tools or analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Investment Advisors (SIA) in client-related investment matters.
• Construct portfolio trading programs for SIAs approval.
• Monitor cash positions and IPS restrictions for clients.
• Review quarterly investment performance reports for clients.
• Perform ad hoc analyses on client-related questions with research staff.
• Develop technical expertise in investment software tools.
• Execute trades for clients.
• Assist in client onboarding.
• Other duties as assigned.
