Job summary

Alterra is hiring for a seasonal housekeeping role at Snowshoe, WV. You will transport staff between condos, manage linens, and stock supply closets while assisting with cleaning tasks and ensuring vehicle upkeep. A valid driver's license and the Snowshoe Driving Program are required.

This position runs through the winter season with weekends and holidays included, offering employee housing and benefits as part of Alterra’s on-mountain program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program.

Responsibilities

• Transport staff safely to and from condos, ensure seat belt use.
• Manage soiled linens and trash, transport to designated areas; prep for pickup and organize clean linens.
• Stock and organize housekeeping closets with linens and supplies, keeping area tidy.
• Assist housekeepers with cleaning tasks like vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms and kitchens, making beds, and washing windows.
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness, fuel level, and mileage/maintenance logs.
• Report repairs, safety concerns, and inventory issues to Maintenance and supervisors; handle lost and found items.
• Perform special projects as assigned; work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Housekeepers: Help with vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, making beds, and washing windows.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the company vehicle clean, fueled, and maintain a log of mileage and maintenance issues.
• Report Issues: Inform Maintenance and supervisors of repairs, safety concerns, and inventory issues; handle lost and found items.
• Special Projects: Perform additional tasks as assigned; work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Driving:

• Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
