Job summary

Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a General Labor associate to manage vehicle flow in the service area and assist service advisors. You will drive vehicles, prepare them for delivery, and ensure cleanliness across the lot while providing transportation for customers.

The role requires walking/standing for 8 hours, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. This is a full-time on-site position at our Gastonia, NC location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Energetic and able to walk/stand for 8 hours.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds (assistance as needed).
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle flow in service stalls, service lane, service drive, and service parking lot.
• Assist service advisors with tasks such as tracking key tasks and driving vehicles.
• Ensure each vehicle has a steering wheel cover and floor mat installed.
• Prepare vehicles for return after service repairs.
• Remove steering wheel cover and floor mats before service delivery.
• Clean driveway, sidewalks, and surrounding areas as directed.
• Provide transportation for customers.
• Be aware of traffic flow to sales and service lots.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents.

Job Requirements

• Manage vehicle flow in our service stalls, service lane, service drive, and within the service parking lot.
• Work with service advisors to complete tasks such as keeping track of key tasks, driving vehicles from service stalls, following dealership display standards, fielding customer requests, and other duties.
• Ensure each vehicle has a steering wheel cover and floor mat installed.
• Ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs.
• Remove the steering wheel cover and floor mats before service delivery
• Clean driveway, sidewalks, and other areas as directed by management
• Provide transportation for customers
• Must be alert of traffic flow to sales and service lots
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors

Qualifications
