Are you looking to make a difference in someone’s life every day? Do you have patience, empathy, and a true desire to care for those in need? You will be responsible for providing each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in a professional and dedicated manner.

Porter Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize designated areas of the nursing home, including resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and restrooms.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
• Monitor and replenish supplies as needed (e.g., toiletries, cleaning products).
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment.

Porter Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move supplies when necessary.
• Experience in LTC/Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Must be able to work in Trenton, NJ.
• Compassionate working with the geriatric population.
