Job description

You will perform day-to-day activities that ensure the cleanliness of the community. Our residents truly appreciate your hard work; helping our senior residents is a fulfilling and rewarding job!

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a professional appearance, manner, and approach while on duty.
2. Work in a manner that promotes a safe and sanitary environment for staff, residents, and visitors; make efforts to reduce safety hazards, accidents, and injuries.
3. Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
4. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
5. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
6. Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
7. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
8. Replenish bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs.
9. Assist housekeeping staff with heavy cleaning or moving of items.
10. Assist in setting up rooms for special events and help clean up afterward.
