Job summary

Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking per diem Housekeepers/Porters to support daily housekeeping operations in accordance with state, federal, health, and company standards. You will perform cleaning duties, polish furnishings, and ensure safety by following the Director of Housekeeping Services' instructions.

Shifts include morning and evening, weekdays and weekends as needed. Experience or on-the-job training is acceptable, and applicants must be able to lift 40–50 pounds.

• Experience or on-the-job training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks according to State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
• Follow directions from the Director of Housekeeping Services to keep the facility safe.
• Clean and polish furnishings and fixtures in restrooms and common areas as directed.
• Discard waste and reline trash with liners.
• Must be able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as closely as possible.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to):

• Perform the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
• Must follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in restrooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible

QUALIFICATIONS:

Managing time effectively and having good organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE:

Experienced or on the job training

Salary:

$24.65 per hour

Per diem, M-F, Weekends as needed, Morning shift, Evening shift
