Job summary

DOUBLE EAGLE RESORT INC seeks a Porter Department Manager to oversee cosmetic upkeep of gaming facilities. You will direct staff, schedule and train Porter team members, enforce safety standards, and liaise with other department leaders to maintain cleanliness across gaming areas and service spaces.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, working on ladders, and adhering to CDC and local health guidelines. This hands-on supervisor position is based on site in Cripple Creek, Colorado.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; or 6–12 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; able to write detailed reports.
• Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to resolve employee and guest complaints.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work on ladders up to 12 feet, stand 8–10 hours, and tolerate cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Manages Porter staff, scheduling, training, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and hiring with HR Director assistance.
• Implements departmental policies and standards for cosmetic maintenance of gaming facilities.
• Directs and monitors cleaning and cosmetic upkeep of gaming and service areas.
• Attends Safety Meetings and communicates safety hazards and procedures.
• Maintains supplies and equipment; orders cleaning supplies and inventory.
• Performs porter duties as needed and liaises with other departments for upkeep.
• Enforces COVID-19 protocols and adapts to new health mandates.
• Other duties as directed by supervisors.
