Our hospital offers comprehensive services including cardiology, neonatal intensive care, cancer treatment, trauma care, rehabilitation, and more. We are proud to be a Magnet hospital, recognized for nursing excellence.

As a Porter, under the supervision of the Executive Chef, you will perform foodservice functions such as ordering supplies, receiving deliveries, stocking, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness in storerooms, coolers, and freezers. You will also assist with special projects and ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP guidelines.

Schedule:
  • Typically Monday-Friday, 5:15 am-1:45 pm. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required based on department needs.
General Requirements:
  • Experience in institutional or healthcare food service or inventory management is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of handling stressful situations and adapting to changes in routine and schedule.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • On-the-job training provided to achieve productivity under supervision.
  • Serve Safe Certified and/or Certified Professional Food Manager Certification preferred; must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
