MDI Management is seeking a full-time Porter to join our team in Salem, OR. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of multi-family properties, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

You will perform daily inspections, maintain pools and exterior lighting, assist with unit turns, and operate power washers and equipment. We offer a stable 40-hour schedule, competitive pay, and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unit turns, property maintenance projects, landscaping, and minor repairs.
• Operate power washers and other equipment to clean buildings, patios, and parking areas.
• Maintain shops, garages, and storage areas in an organized and safe condition.
• Report or correct safety hazards promptly.

Full-Time Porter – MDI Management

MDI Management is looking for a full-time Porter to join our team. This is a 40-hour per week position, Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM. You will focus on maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of multi-family properties, ensuring a welcoming and well-kept environment for residents and guests.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform daily walking inspections and clean the property grounds, removing litter, debris, and pet waste
• Maintain pools, exterior lighting, and golf carts, performing preventative upkeep as scheduled
• Assist with unit turns, property maintenance projects, landscaping, and minor repairs
• Operate power washers and other equipment to clean buildings, patios, and parking areas
• Maintain shops, garages, and storage areas in an organized and safe condition
• Report or correct safety hazards promptly

Safety & Hazards:

• Follow all company, local, state, and federal safety rules
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Be aware of hazards including chemicals (pool maintenance), pressure washers, sharp tools, uneven surfaces, insects, and debris

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and stretching
• Occasional climbing of ladders or elevated surfaces
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
