Job summary

TRG Management Company, LLLP is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of our apartment communities. You will support the maintenance team by cleaning common areas, performing exterior pressure cleaning, and assisting with painting to uphold property appearance and safety standards.

The role includes trash removal, cleaning trash rooms, and aiding with unit turnover. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow schedules and instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and maintaining common areas.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Comfort with manual labor and outdoor work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, halls, and grounds.
• Perform exterior cleaning such as pressure washing as scheduled.
• Assist with painting and curbside upkeep for property appearance and safety.
• Keep trash areas and dumpsters clean and organized.
• Clean and sanitize trash rooms and surrounding areas daily.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards to management.
• Support maintenance during inspections and property walks.
• Prepare units for new tenants and complete daily work orders.

Explore what we have to offer and help turn your talents into a rewarding career.The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall curbside appeal of the apartment community. This position supports the maintenance team by ensuring all common areas, hallways, grounds, and trash areas are clean, safe, and presentable at all times.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain the cleanliness of all common areas, hallways, stairwells, breezeways, sidewalks, and community grounds.Perform pressure cleaning of hallways, sidewalks, stairways, breezeways, and other exterior areas as scheduled.Assist with sidewalk and curb painting to maintain property appearance and safety standards.Maintain curbside appeal by removing trash, debris, leaves, and unwanted items throughout the property.Ensure trash compactor areas and dumpster enclosures remain clean, organized, and free of debris.Clean and sanitize trash rooms, compactor areas, and surrounding grounds daily.Pick up litter throughout the property, including parking areas and landscaping beds.Assist with cleaning vacant units when needed.Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, vandalism, or property damage to management immediately.Support the maintenance team during inspections, audits, and property walks.Maintain inventory and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.Responsible for replacing light bulbs.Cleaning public areas, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, passageways, elevators, stairwells, locker rooms, and other areas as assigned.Cleaning corridors, staircases, and office space by sweeping, mopping, scouring and vacuuming.Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.Washing walls, ceilings, windows and sills, door panels, and woodwork.Transport trash and waste to a disposal area and empty trash and garbage containers.Ability to use new equipment appropriately and adhere to safety protocols before using it.While completing work, ensures that all safety precautions are observed.If necessary, cut and trim the grass.On-property transportation of minor equipment or tools.Daily inspects all assigned locations and notifies the Supervisor of any cleaning or maintenance issues.Clean the units in preparation for new tenants.Completes work orders daily according to the schedule.Perform other jobs as needed.Benefits as a TRGM Employee:Base Salary + Performance Bonus.Medical, dental, vision, legal services, flexible spending account, and commuter benefits.The benefits package includes 100 percent employer-paid life and disability insurance.Employer Matching 401kEmployee Engagement and Wellness programs.Company-paid PTOOpportunities for Professional Development and Tuition Reimbursement.TRG Management is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are a Drug-Free Workplace.
