Mercedes Benz of Calabasas in Calabasas, CA is hiring a Porter. In this role you will help move and position vehicles to ensure smooth flow of traffic, greet customers, and keep the lot clean and organized while upholding dealership standards.

The position offers hourly pay, opportunities for training, and the chance to grow within Sonic Automotive's family of dealerships. All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the USA and able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and credit report.
• Valid driver license required.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Moves vehicles to maintain flow of traffic.
• Assists customers with questions and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintains cleanliness of the dealership lot and showroom.
• May replenish vehicle fluids as needed and perform minor vehicle assistance.
• Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and report accidents.

Hourly pay: $18.00

The Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.00.

Job Description

Porter Duties and Responsibilities:

• Moves vehicles to maintain flow of traffic.
• Assists customers with questions and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintains cleanliness of the dealership.
• May be required to help replenish all vehicle fluids as needed, and perform other minor vehicle assistance.
• Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
