Position Information:

• Salary Range: $20 - $23 hourly (DOE)
• Work Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday (8:30am – 5:30pm)
• Apartment Unit: This position does not come with a comped apartment unit
• Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

This hybrid role combines Porter and Maintenance Technician responsibilities for the property.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of the community, including grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, leasing office, pools, amenities, and common areas.
• Clean interior hallways, common areas, and some exterior areas.
• Shampoo carpets and buff floors regularly.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for new residents.
• Support leasing staff in achieving occupancy goals and resident retention by providing quality living experiences.
• Perform apartment turnings, plumbing, electrical, interior painting, repairs, and ground maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure timely completion of work and follow-up.
• Handle janitorial duties inside and outside the community.
• At least 2 years of maintenance or related experience.
• Ability to work under pressure, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Strong customer service skills to interact with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with work order management software and MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook preferred.
• Self-motivated, efficient, adaptable to various cleaning situations.
• Take pride in maintaining community appearance.
