CityPickle, based in New York, is expanding with Boca Paddle in Boca Raton, FL. We seek a reliable Porter/Janitor to keep the NEW Boca Paddle facility clean, safe, and presentable, including courts and common areas. Responsibilities include general cleaning, event setup, and assisting guests.

The role requires attention to detail, independence, and a flexible schedule, including weekends/evenings. Compensation up to $20/hour and up to 40 hours weekly, with November 2026 start and November 18

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience at a private club or hotel is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to a clean environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and glass cleaning across the facility.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in event spaces and courts.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies; report shortages to the manager.
• Set up and break down event spaces, arrange furniture, remove trash, and perform post-event cleaning.
• Repair minor facility maintenance issues observed during cleaning duties.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals/equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist guests or employees with directions or basic information.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with guests and staff.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Porter/Janitor. In this essential role, the Porter/Janitor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and presentable environment at our NEW Boca Paddle location in Boca Raton, FL. The primary focus will be on performing janitorial duties, cleaning various areas, including the courts, and providing support to other team members as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping down various surfaces throughout the facility including extensive glass cleaning.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in and around event spaces, and courts.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to the appropriate manager.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces, including arranging furniture, removing trash, and performing post-event cleaning.
• Ability to repair minor facility maintenance issues observed during cleaning duties.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Provide assistance to guests or employees who require directions or other basic information.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and staff members.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work at a Private Club or Hotel is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand or walk for extended periods of time in an indoor/outdoor environment.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and evenings during and beyond the normal
  • Club operating hours: Monday - Sunday: 7:00am - 10:00pm.
