Job summary

HRI Properties is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Faubourg Lafitte community in New Orleans, LA. You will clean models, vacant units, and common areas, and assist with maintenance tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has residential/apartment experience and is able to work weekends and extended hours. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• Residential/apartment experience required.
• Must be able to work some weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Cleans office, public access areas, and models as directed, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Cleans apartments thoroughly after move-out or vacant units.
• Keeps model units and public access areas clean and maintained.
• Monitors and reports inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Responsible for trash and debris removal from trash compactor and dumpster areas.
• Maintains housekeeping storage room.
• Reports maintenance concerns in unoccupied areas to Property Manager.
• Helps maintenance staff as needed.
