Job summary

RHO Residential is seeking a Porter in Jersey City, NJ to support the maintenance team in keeping the community safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and staff. No prior experience is required.

You should read and write in English, have good communication, and be reliable. Duties include assisting with snow removal, entering work orders, maintaining grounds, and helping prepare vacant apartments for rent.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English correctly and fluently.
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Management Office, models, interior public and common areas in neat, clean condition.
• Maintain all grounds, sidewalks, walkways, and exterior areas in neat condition.
• Enter Work Order requests from residents.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for rent.
• Snow removal: shoveling, salting, and clearing walkways and entrances.
• Deliver notifications to residents.
• Transport small equipment between departments.
• Set up tables and chairs for events.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
