Job Opening: Full-Time Porter at ESFM

Location: Astrazeneca - 4601 Highway 62 East, Mount Vernon, IL 47620. Note: Online applications only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary; details provided during interview.

Requirement: No prior experience necessary.

Pay Range: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

The Porter maintains cleanliness and sanitation in the front of house, including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure tables are bussed, cleared, and cleaned; floors are swept during peak times and prepped for service.
2. Follow safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
3. Wash dishes, glasses, and pots; clean cooking stations and equipment to maintain sanitation standards.
4. Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes by hand or in dishwashers, ensuring thorough cleanliness.
5. Keep display equipment clean and debris-free, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
6. Assist with heavy deliveries, observing safe lifting standards.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
8. Maintain proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
9. Commit to personal and team safety.
10. Follow all company policies, including the use of appropriate protective gear and safe lifting techniques.
