Job summary

Sunset Ford of Waterloo is seeking a Porter to support daily operations at our Waterloo, IL dealership. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, lots, and showroom areas, moving and inspecting vehicles, shuttling customers, and stocking parts as needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, reliability, and a customer‑oriented, team‑oriented attitude. You will work in a fast-paced dealership environment with opportunities for growth and employee discounts on vehicles and service.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Driver's License.
• Eager to help and contribute to a team.
• Willing to learn sweeping, mopping, cleaning, disinfecting surfaces, bathrooms.

Responsibilities

• Daily duties include cleaning restrooms, trash removal, cleaning windows, vacuuming, sweeping, moping.
• Detail restrooms daily and restock soaps and paper supplies.
• Overall dealership cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with driving vehicles to and from service lane and parking lot as needed.
• Move vehicles between stores and/or perform dealer trades.
• Shuttle customers to home or work.
• Picks up or delivers parts.
• Clean driveway and sidewalks, remove snow and debris as necessary.
• Merchandises vehicle inventory by keeping it clean & organized as requested by management.
• Inspect & check-in vehicles for damage, VINs, miles, etc.
• Install missing stock tags, window stickers, buyer's guides, etc.
• Clean vehicles for customer deliveries and lot presentation.
• Performs other dealership assistance duties as assigned by management.

Porter Qualifications

• Friendly and helpful spirit
• Be able to stand, walk, and be on your feet entire shift
• Lift up to 60 pounds, lift tires head height
• Be on time and ready to work, as well as reliable
