Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Porter in Las Vegas to support service write-ups, tagging and inspection of vehicles, and to deliver parts and vehicles across locations. You will keep lots organized, assist with shop cleanup, and ensure customer vehicles are returned in pristine condition.

The role emphasizes reliability, safe operation of vehicles, and a strong focus on customer service. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months of prior work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks.
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags before returning vehicle to customer.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages and report issues promptly.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Perform deliveries as required.
• Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean prior to delivery.
• Maintain neat vehicle lot and move units as directed.
• Return vehicle keys to the service consultant.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles to storage or locations as required.
• Test batteries in service drive.
• Maintain building and grounds as needed.
• Assist with shop cleanup and deliveries when needed.
