Qualifications

WHAT YOU DO:

  1. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
  2. Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift
  3. Keep floor neat, clean and free of food, trash and other obstacles throughout shift
  4. Clean all spills immediately, use floor signs to caution guests and staff
  5. Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles
  6. Clean and stock line to par throughout shift
  7. Follow housekeeping standards per policy
  8. Operate trash compactor per procedures policy
  9. Ensure that trash cans/slim jims are clean, free of odor and lined
  10. Keep all dust pans clean and free of stuck on debris/odor
  11. Keep current on all standard operating procedures
  12. Turn all lost and found items into MOD
  13. Attend pre-shift meeting conducted by MOD prior to start of each shift
  14. Assist Other Employees as needed
  15. Clean and dust all areas of venue
  16. Sweep and mop floors
  17. Clean and maintains restrooms
  18. Refill toilet paper, paper towel, sanitary napkin and soap dispense
  19. Clean and polish hardware such as doors, woodwork, door handles, push plates, kick plates, metal handrails, cigarette urns and drinking fountains
  20. Maintain adequate supply of cleaning equipment, materials and supplies
  21. Use cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, squeegees, cleaning cloths, sponges, pails, brushes, vacuum cleaners, etc.
  22. Remove wastepaper baskets and containers, and empties same into trash containers and cleans area after trash has been picked up
  23. Report all repairs required and safety and fire hazards to supervisor
  24. Observe safety standards and practices
  25. Additional general cleaning of venue
  26. Perform related duties as required or assigned within job classification

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Three or more years in cleaning services or related type work
  2. Ability to read, write and follow written instruction
  3. Detail-oriented and team player with a positive “can-do” attitude
  4. Early Morning & Day time availability
  5. Sense of Urgency
  6. Time Management
  7. Kitchen sanitation standards
  8. Critical thinking and decision making
  9. High School diploma
  10. Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
  11. Food Service as either an Expeditor or Server in a high-volume environment
  12. Exceptional communication skills
  13. Work environment is fast-paced
  14. Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and working on your feet
  15. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
  16. Tolerance of loud noises
