Job summary

Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack is seeking porters to join the team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Porter, you will perform light cleaning duties around the hotel, both inside and out, and assist in the employee housing area with cleaning and laundry tasks.

The role offers an hourly pay rate of $14.50, with a benefits package including weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in housekeeping preferred.
• No experience or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the employee housing area with cleaning and laundry duties.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
• Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and distribute all recyclables into proper containers.
• Report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
