Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Evening Houseperson to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virgina. As a Houseperson, you will ensure cleanliness of the facility to maintain our culture of high standards and enhance the guest experience.

Pay

$15.90 – $15.90 / hour

What will you do?

• Perform light cleaning duties around the hotel including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and restroom cleaning in both the front and back of the house
• Carry linens, towels, and supplies using wheeled carts
• Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas; distribute all recyclables into proper containers
• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors

More about you

• Six months of experience in housekeeping preferred

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds and pull heavy carts and stock through the facility
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and other ranges of motion for an extended time
