Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a customer-focused team member to join our service crew. Prior experience in customer service and auto detailing is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of office interior: trash, floors, dusting countertops.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of production area interior: waste disposal, sweeping, organizing tools.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat; shovel sidewalks when needed.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs; clean exterior and interior after repairs.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description

• 1 - 2 years prior experience in customer service excellence preferred
• 1-2 years previous car detailing / washing preferred

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education And/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask

Compensation Details

$14.00 - $19.00 + / Hour

Supplemental Pay

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.

This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
