Job summary

River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Illinois is seeking a Porter to maintain the appearance of vehicles and assist with transporting vehicles and customers. The role includes keeping the lot neat, moving units as directed, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring showroom readiness.

Training and growth opportunities are available. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with background checks per local regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by Sales/Service managers and dealership standards.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup when necessary.
• Support building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Perform other functions and special projects as assigned.
