Summary/Objective:

The Porter is responsible for assisting the Maintenance team in maintaining the cleanliness of our property on a day-to-day basis.

Classification:

Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)

Location:

Tulsa, OK

Essential functions/Responsibilities:

• Perform daily interior cleaning of buildings, including common areas, spills, windows, vacuuming, sweeping, floor stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Handle and remove trash daily, including emptying compactors, breaking down cardboard, and curbside pickup for sanitation.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy by removing left-behind items and leaving units broom-swept.
• Perform exterior cleaning and basic maintenance, including walls, parking lots, walkways, gardens, outdoor furnishings, pools, gutters, and exterior hallways.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs, filters, blinds, and shades.
• Assist with weather-related cleaning, including snow removal and storm preparations.
• Report unsafe conditions, security issues, or breaches to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning solutions.
• Motivated, service-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and additional hours as needed.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate maintenance tools.
• Good interpersonal skills and polite demeanor.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Proficiency with industrial cleaning equipment.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Salary:

$18.00 per hour
