Description

Job Summary:

The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and curb appeal of the property including grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Must have a professional and neat appearance

• Works within the safety guidelines outlined by the Company

• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots and other community areas

• Removes trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily

• Remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready

• Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and or models

• Assists in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems as needed

• Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on apartments, models, clubhouse, and common areas

• Performs supplemental landscape maintenance and watering so that landscape areas are tidy and trimmed

• Keeps the Property Manager informed of any suspicious activities on or around the community

• Other tasks as assigned

• Education: None

• Experience: None; some experience in the multifamily industry preferred

• License/Certification(s): None

• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • English/Spanish fluency

  • Basic computer and smartphone skills
