Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a dedicated Porter in Statesboro, GA to support vehicle repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before and after service and keeping the shop and office clean. You will drive and transport vehicles to sublet locations, maintain parking areas, and assist with general housekeeping to uphold safety and presentation standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, the ability to multitask, and some automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior and production area, including trash removal and sweeping.

• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat condition.

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail

Compensation Details
