The Boyd Group is seeking a Porter to keep customer vehicles clean before delivery and to maintain the office and production areas. This role supports the repair process by preparing vehicles and ensuring a tidy work environment in Eldersburg, MD.

Ideal candidates may have automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma. The job requires multitasking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a busy shop setting.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily office interior housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Maintain production area housekeeping and tool organization.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat condition.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Clean interior and exterior of customer vehicles after repairs.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail
