About SSP America

SSP America operates multiple restaurants within the Ontario International Airport. Our Porters create a positive guest experience by accurately and effectively receiving, shipping, picking, and packing all items, and successfully delivering them to restaurants and grab-and-go locations.

Responsibilities

• Check delivered products for quality and quantity to verify receipt of items on invoice.
• Ensure all frozen or refrigerated goods meet HACCP standards.
• Determine storage methods considering temperature, humidity, weight, and space requirements.
• Load and unload supply trucks between storage and work areas.
• Make timely deliveries to operating restaurants across the property.
• Conduct inventory and compile reports.
• Handle shipping and receiving, including picking and packing orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas; perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Transport unused products for disposal and soiled ware for cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience in retail or food service environment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience handling guest service issues.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
