Sales Lot Porter (A minimum of 3 years with a valid CA DL)

Position Purpose

The Sales Lot Attendant moves and cleans vehicles, keeps used vehicles in sound working condition, and assists Managers as requested.

Responsibilities

1. Keeps used-vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by Managers and in accordance with dealership display standards.
2. Cleans interior and exterior of used vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, and windows as needed.
3. Picks up vehicles and delivers to customers as directed by Management.
4. Starts vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns.
5. Picks up required parts from Parts Department when requested.
6. Responsible for keeping all vehicles appropriately fueled.
7. Ensures that required forms/stickers have been completed and are properly displayed.
8. Maintains the parking lot in a neat and organized manner, free of debris and fluid leaks.
9. Regularly checks to ensure all vehicles in the parking lot are locked and secure.
10. Inspects each vehicle for lot damage and reports immediately to management.
11. Washes all vehicles before delivery to clients in a timely manner.
12. Inspects all vehicles for grease, stains, or debris and cleans them using the specified materials and techniques.
13. Keeps waste cans emptied and hauls bulky waste items to the dumpster as scheduled or needed.
14. Shuttles clients to and from the dealership as needed.
15. Immediately reports any safety, welfare, or integrity issues to Management.
16. Adheres to work schedule, arriving early and engaged at your workstation.
17. Follows safety rules and uses appropriate safety and personal protection equipment.
18. Maintains dress code policy at all times.
19. Safeguards customer and dealer information per policy.
20. Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others accountable.
21. Completes assigned tasks and responsibilities.
22. Performs other related duties as assigned.
